A little background.........

Iain has been a professional musician, composer and songwriter since he left school.

Born in the UK to Kiwi parents, and after a fomal music education, he worked throughout the industry as a successful session musician, arranger and songwriter.

As a keyboard player he has worked with or supported countless groups and artists, including Peter Haycock's Climax (Climax Blues Band), Amici Forever, Andy Summers (Police), Godley and Creme (10cc), Vivian Jones, Charlie Doidge,  Pink Floyd, Steve Ellis's Love Affair, and others, and as a composer/arranger has recorded and produced music for Polygram, Sony/ATV, Universal, BBC, ITV, BMG, Andy Jordan Prductions, and Red Bus Studios.

His passion for the rights of the indigenous people of Australia  saw him co-produce a unique album with long-time friend and associate Philip Jackson for the benefit of an Aboriginal co-operative in Queensland - a passion which he also brings to his belief in the development of new artists in the music industry, in a time when the major labels and publishers  are unashamedly promoting celebrity and are no longer interested in investing in the future of a creative industry.

He has lived for the last 15 years in southern Brittany in France with his wife, artist Joy Towner.
